Ed defined what a "Man of God" is all about. He was the most gifted speaker/preacher that I have ever known. His transparency, genuineness and overall humility are all second to none. He really cared for people. He had the greatest compassion for hurting people in emotional need. And he was truly anointed to spread the gospel of Christ. A true prayer warrior.
We will all miss him so much. Our thoughts and prayers to his wife Sylvia and to the rest of his family. Ed knows how deeply you loved him. Just know how deeply he loved you!

A more Godley man I have never known. So many wonderful memories of Pastor Ed and his family the years he served at St. John Methodist Church in Mobile, AL. He was so much more than a preacher. Ed Chandler was a teacher and a pastor who tended his flock. Rest in Peace, Friend.
