Lorraine H Greene

Lorraine Helen Shatney (Shorey) Greene, age 86, peacefully met the Lord on Sunday January 22, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband John Shorey, husband Carl Greene, and brothers Paul and Reggie Shatney.
Surviving family includes her two sons Ken Shorey and wife Cindy, and Ron Shorey and wife Eva; grandchildren Jennifer Stahl and husband Gregg, Valerie Hunt and husband David, John Shorey and wife Jillian, and Chloe Shorey; several nieces, nephews and five great-grandchildren.
Lorraine was born in Cabot Vermont, on January 16, 1931 to Theron Shatney and Helen Sergeant. She married John Shorey early in life and after his passing wound up in Fort Walton Beach. She opened one of the first sub shops in Fort Walton Beach, and from there went to work at Los Panchos. She then met and married Carl Greene and retired to Valparaiso.  She enjoyed her family most, spending much of her time with her sons, grandchildren and dear friends.
