In loving memory of Mary Ann Devine

Loving wife, beloved mother and proud grandmother, Mary Ann Devine passed away November 2, 2017, age 84, surrounded by family. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty years, Jack Devine, her children David Devine, Janet Danforth and her husband, Chad, Nancy Devine and her grandchildren, Rylie and Logan Danforth.

Mary Ann enjoyed helping others and cared for many throughout her career as a Registered Nurse. Following retirement and a move from Michigan to Florida, she developed a love of gardening. She joined a garden club where she fostered this love of gardening and in the process expanded her social circle. She cherished her friendships and spent many evenings with her close friends playing bunko / bingo and sharing stories of her children and grandchildren. She also loved Biloxi trips with girlfriends. She will be remembered for her easy laugh, holiday gatherings, Polish cooking, and UNO games with her grandchildren.

A mass will be held at Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Church on Monday, November 6th at 11am with a reception in the parish hall immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in the memory of Mary Ann to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen (cskdetroit.org).
