Olga J. Bordner

Olga Jean Bordner of Niceville, Florida, passed away on December 27, 2017 to meet with her Savior Jesus for eternal life. She was born in East Chicago, Indiana, on August 18, 1932, before moving to Phoenix, AZ area, in l987, she was formerly from Palos Hills, IL.

Olga was the beloved wife of the late Donald Bordner and was also preceded in death by her parents Elia and Nelie (Bilo) Kozlow. Loving mother of sons, Doug (Margaret) and Tim (Dorothy), and daughter, Kerry (Frank) Halbert; cherished grandmother of Jamie (Adam) Osmanski, Jason (Tricia), Kelli, Derek (Jessica), Ashley (Travis) Melton, Brandon Halbert, Lauren (Tyler) Van Decar MD and Chelsea. She was a Great Grandmother (GeGe) to Tyler, Chase and Beckham Osmanski, Preston, Audry, Bryan and Jaxson; sister to the late brother, Ed (Shirley) Kozlow; niece, Diane (Michael) Richard; their children, Melissa (Dan) Rooney MD, Kent (Aileen) and Meredith Richard; nephew, Edward (Bridget) Kozlow and their children, Erin, Megan & Maureen.

Her skills were a Bookkeeper for Parkview Orthopedic Group, Secretary for Arizona State University and Hostess for Pulte Corporation. She loved all her school friends from Perry & Chicago Vocational High School, her friends from Arizona, and Seniors Over Sixty in Niceville, Florida.

A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 am on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Church, Niceville. A funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am at the church with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois.
