William E Gustman

William (Bill) Ervin Gustman, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, March 1, 2018. He was born on April 22, 1931 in Boscobel, Wisconsin to Ervin Carl Gustman and Hilda Olivia Bakken. Mr. Gustman and family arrived in the Fort Walton Beach area June 1968. He was Lutheran by faith and a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving our country for 20 years. He served in the Korean War. He enjoyed camping and helping out the community. Mr. Gustman was preceded in death by his father and mother. Mr. Gustman is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sandra Gustman. He is also survived by his 4 sons, Richard (Ricky) and Karin Gustman, William (Billy Dale) Gustman, Carl and Linda Gustman, Robert (Bobby) and XueFen Gustman. His is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of life in honor of Mr. Gustman on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 363 Miracle Strip Parkway, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 with a reception to follow in the Christian Life Center. Pastor Steve Marko will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mr. Gustman’s life. In lieu of flowers, it was Mr. Gustman’s request that donations be made to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery on a future date.
