William "Bill" Raymond Drake

82 Years of Love, Life, and Laughter
With a broken heart, we are saddened to announce on March 30th, we lost the Patriarch of our beautiful family. Bill cherished his many titles of Husband, Daddy, Father-In-Law, Uncle, and Papa. On June 22, 1963, he married the "Love of His Life", Jerrie Gayle Smith, in Nicholasville, Kentucky. They would share a lifetime of love for the next 61 years living in Kentucky, Texas, Utah, Ohio, and settling in Florida. He was a wonderful Daddy, Father-In-Law, Papa, and Uncle, to Leslie, Billy, Dalton, Heather, Eric, and Katie Bug. He would share with all, that the love of family is the true measure of wealth. He was delighted and loved to see his family grow and looked forward to Sunday dinners with us all.
Throughout his life, he would make memories with us all to sustain us through this difficult time. 
Dad was reunited at the Gates of Heaven with his parents, Grace and Raymond Drake; Parents-in-Law, Bula and Shirley Smith; and his precious English Bulldog, Sugar Bear.

Our Family will graciously receive Hugs, Loves, and Tears, on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM followed by the funeral at 12:00 PM, with burial to follow at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home.
