Andresa “Resa” Donayre Osgard, of Niceville was born March 15, 1946 in Baybay Leyte, Philippines to her parents Balbina Quezon and Proceso Donayre. She passed away peacefully in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on Wednesday January 31st, 2018.
Resa lived in Angeles City, Philippines where she met and married her husband Robert in 1975. They traveled the world with his career in the United States Air Force. She later started her own career as civil service cook in Keflavik, Iceland. She later received more formal training by the United States Air Force and served as chef for both Eglin Air Force Base and Duke Field. Resa received numerous awards and accolades for her cooking for Senators, Congressmen and other visiting dignitaries. She loved cooking and served our troops for over 30 years before retiring.
Resa was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived her husband of 43 years, Robert Osgard, her sons Fernando Donayre, Robert Osgard, and Michael Osgard, her daughter Mary Osgard. Other survivors include her three brothers in the Philippines and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Resa was loved by everyone who knew her and will greatly be missed.
A visitation will be held at 1:00pm, funeral service begins at 2:00pm at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home, and interment to follow at Heritage Gardens Cemetery.
