Billy Benton Obituary

Billy Joe Benton, loving husband, father and friend passed away Feb 9, 2018 in Niceville Florida after a battle with cancer. He was born January 14, 1951 in Newnan Georgia and was adopted by Ralph and Ruby Benton.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Kathy Benton; daughter, Sherri Benton McDivitt (Scott); son, Chris Benton (Jolee); stepdaughters, Crystal Uptain (Phillip) and Stephanie Brady (Robert)Grandchildren, Hunter Leverett, Alyssa Uptain, Hunter Uptain and Kristopher Brady.

Billy enjoyed life and never missed a chance to do the things he loved. His love of cars was something that started as a young man and even took him into the world of car racing. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time at the Thunder Beach events in Florida.

There is going to be a celebration of Billy's Life on March 3, 2018 at The Hopper 573 North Central Avenue Atlanta GA 30354 from 2-4 pm. Family and Friends welcome.
