Charles Edward Hamilton, III

Charles E. Hamilton III, age 61, of Valparaiso, Florida, left us to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 4, 2017.  He was born on April 21, 1956, in Bitburg, Germany and was a lifelong resident of Niceville/Valparaiso.  He was a Graduate of NHS Class of 74.  He worked as a Government Contractor for 35 years and was currently employed by RT&T at Eglin as a Field Engineer III with CCF. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Jr. and Elaine R. Hamilton of Niceville. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Pamela Duvall Hamilton; children, Charles (Michelle) Hamilton IV, Katrina (Jason) Snyder, Tony Wallis, Kim (Jason) Coone; grandchildren, Kaycee, Abbigayle, Claira, Charles V., and Kaylee; brother, John (Mari) Hamilton; nieces, Heidi and Taylor; nephew, Dylan Hamilton; great niece, Charlie and great nephew, Ashton Hamilton.Chuck enjoyed photography, genealogy, classic rock, playing the guitar, and spending quality time with his family and grandkids.  He was a trivia expert and a fan of stock car racing, specifically at the Beach Ridge Speedway in Scarborough Maine.He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend and will be greatly missed.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration Service at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home, 2201 N. Partin Drive, Niceville, Florida, 32578. Tropical plants are preferred but memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to PAWS in Fort Walton Beach.
