Just heard about BG Luigs' passing. We were stationed together at Seymour Johnson and those who worked under him always thought of him with deep respect. He was a consummate warrior. RIP sir. Salute!

I grew up with Freddie. He was one of the neighborhood bunch, and we had lots of fun together. Later I kept up with him through his mother, and we were very proud of his service record. I regret being so late in sending this. I had heard nothing about Freddie for a while so I got on computer and learned that he had died.
If you were privileged to know his father you will understand what a compliment it was for Freddie to be called "Little Jake". He had the same zest for life, care for other people and desire to make the world fun for all.
We'll miss him, but the world is a better place because of him.
