I worked for Duane when he was the SPO Director at Eglin in 1979. He was one of the best bosses I had in the AF. Some years later I worked with him at Sverdrup after we were both retired. He was a very competent engineer and was always pleasant and upbeat. I am very sorry to hear of your loss of this exceptional man.

We just learned of Duane's passing. Martha and I want to offer our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I really enjoyed knowing Duane and competing with and against him in sailing events. He will be missed.
