Elaine Kettles Lightfoot age 82 of Valparaiso, Florida passed away at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center after living a wonderful and fulfilling life. She embraced challenges head on with grace and style, always putting others before herself. Born in Dalton, Georgia, Elaine and her sister Jean enjoyed their childhood summers growing up at Prater's Mill. She was a proud graduate of Auburn University and a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. While living for over 30 years in Dunwoody, Georgia, she cultivated a successful real estate career where she was known for her kindness and exceptional service to her clients.
Her main passion in life was her family. After retiring, Elaine moved closer to her grandchildren where she was often seen at their academic and sporting events. She enjoyed playing golf, bridge and especially watching Auburn Football! She remained active with her college sorority and the DAR.
Elaine was a member of Niceville Crosspoint church and volunteered at the Heritage Museum in Valparaiso. She is survived by her children Leslie Lightfoot of Smyrna, Georgia; Stephen Lightfoot and wife Dr. Lisa Judge and their children Christopher and Katie of Niceville, Florida; Lisa Lightfoot and husband Mike Levy of Hawkinsville, Georgia; her sister Jean Murray of Griffin, Georgia; nephew James Murray and wife Susan and their children Tripp and Elinor of Griffin, Georgia; nephew William Murray and wife Holly and their children Gordon and Susannah of Griffin, Georgia. Her life touched many new and lifelong friends. Elaine will be deeply missed.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 25th at the Niceville Crosspoint church sanctuary with visitation starting at 2:30 followed by services at 3:30.
