Jacqueline owens Head

Jacqueline Collette Owens Head (Jackie) 79, of Niceville, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday October 8 at 5:30 pm.

Preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Thelma Owens and brother Edgar Owens Jr.  

Born on November 22, 1938 in Greenville, South Carolina and as the spouse of a military service man, she lived in South Carolina, Georgia, and New Jersey before building a life in Niceville, Florida for the last 47 years.  She worked in preschool for many years at Cornerstone Worship Center, formally known as Valparaiso Baptist Church. She was known as Jackie, Jac, Mom, Aunt Jackie, Nana, and Nana Jackie by the many who loved her.

She is survived by her husband Jack Head after 61 years of marriage. They have four children Jack Head Jr (Mary), Lisa Warsheski (Steve), Donald Head (Debbie), and Ronald Head (Jacque).  They were blessed with 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren with another on the way, and multiple nieces and nephews.

We will celebrate her life on Monday October 15th, at the Heritage Garden Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 12:00pm with service to follow at 1:00pm. Grave side will follow at 2:00pm. The family requests that all in attendance bring their smiles, funny stories, and best memories of our Jacqueline O. Head.
