Louie (Lou) Judson Williams of Mossy Head, Florida passed away peacefully June 17, 2019. He was born April 21, 1930 in Conecuh County, Alabama, to Louie and Hattie (McNorton) Williams.
He is survived by his: son, Lee Williams of Baker, Florida; daughter, Dr. Joy Williams of Baldwin County, Alabama; brother Rudolf (Julia) Williams of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; sister Myrtice (Williams) Ellis of Castleberry, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by special friends Rose Harvey and Debbie Watson.
He was predeceased by his brothers Theo and Ollie Lee Williams, his sister Thelma (Williams Grant, and Callie Harrison, mother of his son and daughter.
He graduated from Conecuh County High School in 1948, then joined the Air Force which included a tour in Alaska. After the Air Force, he worked on aircraft engines at Brookley Field and Eglin Air Force Base.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing and being with his special dogs.
There will be a time of visitation held on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 9-10am at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville, with Funeral Services beginning at 10am. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Valparaiso, Florida.
