Mary W. Collins

Mary Collins, age 82, of Niceville, Florida passed away peacefully on July 12, 2019. Mary was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 22, 1936. Mary graduated from St. Charles Borromeo Catholic High School and Loyola University of the South. She married John Andrew Collins on June 18, 1966 and was a Medical Technologist until raising her family. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Wilbert James Wetzel, Sr and Ilma Mollere Wetzel, her brothers, Wilbert James Wetzel, Jr and Carl Michael Wetzel. She is survived by her husband, John A. Collins of 53 years; her daughters, Catherine Mary Collins Mulcahy and her husband John and Lisa Ann Collins Laurendine; her grandchildren, 2d Lt Chase Laurendine USAF, Mary Mulcahy, Riley Laurendine and Megan Mulcahy; her brother Thomas Kelly Wetzel and his wife Cathey.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday July 16, 2:00pm at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. A viewing will be held prior to mass beginning at 1:00pm followed by a Rosary 1:30pm prior to the Mass. Interment will be held at Heritage Gardens Cemetery followed by a reception at Holy Name Parish Life Center. In lieu of flowers donations my be made to Niceville Catholic Outreach, 1200 Valparaiso Boulevard Niceville, Florida 32578 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
