Robert Moring

Robert Moring, beloved husband, father and grandfather went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Dec 13, 2018. He had just celebrated his 84th birthday. He was born on Sep 15, 1934 in Pinckard, AL. He loved playing and coaching sports and was an avid Crimson Tide fan.

Robert married his beloved Sue on May 28, 1960 and worked as a Computer Scientist at the Math Lab at Eglin AFB until he retired in 1995.  He was a devout Christian and long-standing member of the First Baptist Church of Valparaiso.  He is survived by his wife Sue, his brother Frank (wife Peggy), his son Keith (wife Karen), his son Ken, 4 grandchildren, a great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank our wonderful family & friends for their loving visits, overwhelming support and prayers as Robert has battled Parkinson’s disease and other complications. A funeral service led by Rev. Ernest Walker will be held at First Baptist Church of Valparaiso on Saturday, Jan 5th, 2019 at 11 AM (visitation 10 to 10:45). Burial will follow on Monday, Jan 7th at 11 AM in Pinckard, AL.
