Shawn N. Blake

Shawn N. Blake Sr., 35, of Valparaiso, FL passed away on June 21st at his home following a long and courageous battle with cancer.  He was born in Hampton, Virginia on January 24th, 1982, the son of Janet L. Blake of Missouri and Robert R. Blake Jr of Valparaiso, FL.Shawn is survived by his wife Mary Painter Blake, his son Shawn N. Blake Jr, 13, his daughter Emily Blake, 11, his brother Robert R. Blake III,  his Grandparents Elizabeth M. & Robert R. Blake Sr., and his nieces and nephews, all of Valparaiso, FL. A graduate of Niceville High School, he was employed by Bearden Electrical Contractors of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 26th  at 11:00AM at the New Hope Baptist Church, 108 Aurora Street, Valparaiso, FL. Phone 850-678-4399. Refreshments will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.

A memorial donation in memory of Shawn may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church.
