Theresa Colwell Gibson

Theresa Gibson, 64, of Freeport, Florida, passed away on February 25.

Mrs. Theresa Gibson, daughter of the late Patrick Colwell and Regina Raymond was born June 29, 1954 in Medford, Wisconsin.  She was united in marriage to Larry Gibson October 16, 1971. This union was blessed with four children. She worked as a Vice-President of Human Resources for People’s National Bank for 20 years.    

Theresa was a member of the Church of Christ in Niceville, Florida. She had a generous spirit and pleasant personality, and as a result was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.  

Her wonderful loving life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Daughter Michelle Croxton and her husband Sam. Daughter Roberta Wheeler and her husband Robert. Daughter Christine McGlinchey and her husband Troy. Son Justin Gibson and his wife Brandi; fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren; brother, Patrick Colwell; sisters: Rose Barber, Connie Frietas, Patti Michetti, and Kim Bugner; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be a time of Visitation from 12:00pm – 1:00pm Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Niceville Church of Christ. Funeral services will follow promptly after the visitation at 1:00pm with Joe Palmer officiating.   Interment will follow at Heritage Gardens Cemetery.
