Toyoko M Gibson

Toyoko Gibson, age 83, of Niceville passed away on September 8, 2017. She was born in Okinawa, Japan on November 10, 1933. She was a devout Christian and dedicated servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Toyoko was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L. Gibson. Survivors include two daughters, Kay (Fred) Johnson, and Debbie (Masaru “Mabo”) Uezato, two sons, James Gibson, and Robert (Angela) Gibson; sisters, Tomiko Makishi and Hideko; brother, Koichi Makishi; grandchildren, Hope (Robert) Liski, Faith Flores, Colten Reaves, Kris and Sean Johnson, Yuuma Uezato, Jasmine Gibson, Aubrey, Riley and Ava Gibson, and great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Avery Liski. 

A visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Generations United Church in Niceville.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm at the church with interment to follow in Rocky Memorial Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Emerald Coast Hospice for their outstanding help through a very difficult time.
