Tressa Gail Welch Bell of Niceville, Florida, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family early Saturday morning, October 12, 2019.
Tressa was born on June 12, 1955 in Niceville to her parents, Billy S. Welch and Barbara Louise Welch King. Tressa is predeceased by her father, Billy S. Welch and survived by her mother, Barbara L. Welch King (currently of Tallahassee), her children; son, Trey Bell, and daughter, Tiffany Hoover (Chad) and grandchildren, Aaron, Aiden, and Autumn Sells; siblings, Terri Welch Farmer (Tommy) of Alabama, Tena Pate (Sam) of Tallahassee, Tammy Welch Kimble (Ron) of Panama City, Billy Welch (Christy) of Crestview, and Dale Hayes (Libby) of Maryville, Tennessee; also nieces and nephews, Michael Coffey, Sheila Lee, Eric and Nathan Pate, 4 great nieces and nephews, and the dearest of friends, Lizzie Hanover and Rick Pritchett.
Tressa was a kind and tender soul; a true and faithful friend to many. A believer in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and a fierce defender of her children, Tiffany and Trey. She fought bravely against a deadly disease and the family is so thankful for the extra time she gave them.
A Celebration of Life ceremony in Tressa’s honor will be held on Saturday, October 19, at 11 a.m. at Heritage Gardens in Niceville, Florida.
