William C Fabozzi

William (Bill) Charles Fabozzi, age 66 passed away Thursday 23 March, 2017.  He was born 9 August 1950 in Perth Amboy, NJ to Charles and Shirley Fabozzi. Bill is survived by his loving wife Janet of 34 years; brothers: Wayne (Wendy) and Frank (Susan); Children: Charlie (Lisa) Fabozzi, Melissa Fabozzi, and Karen (Brian) Sholes; Grandchildren: Corrine Fabozzi, Jamie Sholes, Tyler Harvard, Jake (Shelbi) Fabozzi, Jessica Sholes, Ashlynn Harvard, Britney Sholes, Great Grandchildren: Bohdi Fabozzi and Rosalina Grider and numerous other family members and close friends. Mr. Fabozzi was a long time resident of Niceville, Florida.  He was a devout Catholic and someone who met no stranger. He served his nation and his local community by volunteering for the United States Air Force reserves, and the Niceville Fire Department.  For 19 years, he worked for Fairchild industries as a sheet-metal mechanic until the plant closed in 1986. He then moved on to his love of serving his community by working as a firefighter/EMT for the Ocean City Wright Fire department for 19 years. In 2008 he retired as a Lieutenant from his beloved Ocean City Wright Fire Department. After retirement Bill spent his days being a selfless, sweet, loving and feisty Pop to his 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his love of family, service to others, and famous Christmas cookies. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 30 beginning at 11am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, with a reception to follow.
