William R Milliken, (Bill) 74, of Niceville Florida, passed away peacefully on October 6th, 2018, with his family by his side at home, after receiving his last rights given by Father Toledo. He was born December 21st, 1943, raised in Pensacola, Florida and graduated from Escambia High School, joined the Air Force in 1962, had 2 years of college during his time in the Air Force and retired as Chief Master Sergeant. William married Raquel Catalan on April 29th, 1967. After retiring from the Air Force, William volunteered at the Vocational school in Fort Walton, worked at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Niceville, volunteered to visit many people at the elderly homes, spreading his joy and laughter everywhere he went. He loved cooking, spending time with his family, golfing with his grandchildren and singing in the choir at his church. William is survived by his spouse, Raquel, his daughters, Luisa, Maria, and Yolanda, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Family, friends, and others whose lives have been touched by William are invited to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church for a celebration of life, Friday, October 12th, 2018, viewing at 10am and mass at 11am.
