Anneliese Rieger Callahan

Anneliese R. Callahan, 94, peacefully passed away at home with family on Wednesday afternoon, April 19, 2023. Preceded in death by her husband, Herman Morris Callahan, she is survived by her three daughters, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Throughout Herman’s years of service in the Air Force, Ann and Herman were stationed throughout Europe and the United States. Ann often shared stories of their adventures. She loved to travel to new destinations and experience the cuisine and history of each place. Being an only child, family was very important to her. She was happiest when her home was full of family and friends or with knitting needles in her hands. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her as Ann, Mom, Nana, Mom #2, or Mrs. “C.”
