Barbara Ann Johnson

Barbara Ann Johnson, 70, of Niceville, Florida, passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 3, 2023 at her son's home in Shalimar, Florida. Barbara was born in Fairborn, Ohio, on April 26, 1952 to Harvey and Vivian Koon. Barbara served in the Air Force as a cook. After the military, Barbara spent her days as a doting stay-at-home wife and mother. Barbara enjoyed spending her days taking care of her grandchildren and sewing. Barbara was very talented with a sewing machine and made some of the most beautiful dresses you would ever see. 

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Roger Koon. Barbara is remembered by her husband of 43 years, Clyde Johnson; her sons Pewee (Robert Johnson), Chris Johnson, and Daniel Johnson; her grandchildren Dakota Allen, Austin James, Peyton Clyde, Cory Robert, Hailey Marie, Myra Jean, and Lexi; her sister, Donna Rogers; as well as many loving family and friends.
