Barbara A. Reynolds

Barbara A. Reynolds of Niceville, FL, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family at the age of 79, on July 28, 2026. She was born on July 21, 1947, as the only child to Frank and Anna Vaith in Utica, NY. On May 30, 1970, she married Ned Reynolds, USAF Chief Master Sergeant retired, and together they built a loving family during Ned's 26 years of service. Together, Barb and Ned shared 56 wonderful years.

She was a devoted and dedicated military spouse, becoming involved in each community and leaving her mark at every base she lived on. Her military travels extended to 11 different bases, including locations in New York, Texas, North Dakota, three bases in Florida, California, New Mexico, Virginia, Hawaii and New Hampshire. Following military retirement, she was a resident of Niceville, Florida for 40 years.

During their retirement years, Barb and Ned traveled throughout the United States and Hawaii visiting friends and family. She traveled to South Korea to visit her daughter Grace, who was stationed at Osan AFB. She also traveled to the Azores to visit her daughter Rebecca, who was stationed at Lajes Field. Barb and Ned enjoyed annual vacation trips to Hawaii for the past 14 years.

Barbara is survived by her husband; her two daughters, Rebecca Arguello (USAF MSgt retired) and Grace Castor, who is married to Jeremy (JR) Castor (USAF Lt. Col.), and four grandchildren, Emily Jones (AF SSgt) who is married to Patrick Jones, Alvin Arguello, Joshua and Hannah Castor; and one great-granddaughter, Isla Jones.

Memorial service is Sat, Aug 1, 2026, 11:00 at Heritage Garden Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematory, 2201 N. Partin Dr, Niceville, FL 32578. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00.

Funeral is Sat, Aug 8, 2026, 11:00 at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Rd, Westerville, OH. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00. Burial following service at Rich Hill Cemetery, Centerburg, OH 43011.
