Betty S Harlow

Betty S. Harlow, age 71, a loving wife, mother, Granny/Mimi, sister, aunt and friend, left this world to spend eternity with Jesus on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.  Betty was born in Centerville, TN on November 14, 1948.  She was a resident of Crestview, FL for the past 27 years.  Betty was surrounded by her loving husband and family at the time of her transition into Glory.

She was married to her lifelong soulmate, Larry W. Harlow, for 54 years.  Betty had three children: Cindy Donovan, Anthony Harlow and Missy Rodriguez.  She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Harlow; son-in-law, Joe Donovan; grandson, Josh Donovan; parents, Billie T. and Johnnie Adams; her brother, Johnny Adams; and her sister, Lynn Adams.  Betty is survived by her husband, Larry W. Harlow, of Crestview, FL; daughter, Cindy (Joe) Donovan of Niceville; daughter, Missy Rodriguez of Niceville, FL; grandchildren, Blake (Ashley) Donovan of Freeport, FL;  and Breana and Justin Rodriguez, both of Niceville, FL; sister, Kay (Jim) Spears of Mt. Pleasant, TN; sister, Wanda (Bobby) Clayton of Lawrenceburg, TN; sister, Mary (Bobby) Smith of Mt. Pleasant, TN; brother, Joe (Brenda) Adams of Lawrenceburg, TN; brother, Mike Adams of Columbia, TN; sister, Carolyn Hodge of Columbia, TN; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and very close, lifelong friends.

Betty never met a stranger and became quick friends with everyone she met.  Betty loved her family very much and they loved her even more.  In times of better health, she loved working in her yard and had beautiful flowers and yard decorations.  She even won “Beautiful Yard of the Month” when they were stationed in Columbus AFB, MS.  Betty will be sorely missed by all who know her.  She was the staple and glue of our family and we love her so very much!

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family is having a graveside service on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Valparaiso, Florida.  Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville, Florida is in charge of the arrangements.
