Carol O'Brian Obituary

Carol O'Brian (Janisse) passed away January 23, 2022. Carol was born March 3rd, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to William and Charlotte Janisse. She moved to the area with the love of her life George (Irish) O'Brian (passed away Sept 20, 1989) in 1962. Carol lived a colorful life that reflected her colorful personality. She had a great sense of humor and loved to make others laugh with her outlandish jokes. She liked doing crafts and making jewelry, as a devout Catholic she enjoyed making rosaries for her loved ones. Carol is survived by her sister Cynthia Janisse Spears and nieces Jean and Mary. She's also survived by her 3 children whom she considered her greatest accomplishments Chip O'Brian (Darla), Kelly Cotton (Mike) and Lori O'Brian. Carol's heart belonged to her grandchildren. She was lovingly nicknamed Gugie by her grandchildren. She made sure that none of them ever went without and made herself available when needed. She is survived by all of them and their names are: Christie Cover (Alex), Michael Cotton, Micky O'Brian, Megan Cotton, Kati O'Brian (Travis), Zachary O'Brian and Benjamin Savage(Angelina). Her great grandchildren are Emoree, Piper, Rialynn, Declyan Cover, Eli, Ansleigh O'Brian, Nathan (India), Ryan, Lilly, and Bethany Savage. Also, a great great grandchild Tahali. Carol was cremated and her remains will be interred at a later date.

"I'm sending this letter from Heaven,

just to tell you I'm doing alright...

I'm so sorry for the pain you're all feeling,

But I really did put up a fight..

Our God had different intentions,

There are things that He wants me to do...

But always know deep within your hearts,

I'll always be there with you...

My family is amazing,

I still feel your love here with me...

You really wouldn't feel so sad,

If you could see what I can see...

Have laughs now and then in my name...

Always remember I love you,

God bless till we meet again..."
