In loving memory of Donald “Papa” Sandt Jr, a devoted grandfather, patriot, and retired Chief Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force. An amazing husband, Don and his wife Sun enjoyed forty-four wonderful years of marriage. Donald's love for his family knew no bounds, especially for his beloved grandson JD, whom he adored beyond measure. His commitment to him was evident through his tireless volunteer work at his grandson's school library, dedicating nearly five days a week for six years to enriching the lives of students through the love of books and learning.
Donald's unwavering dedication extended to his country as he served with honor and distinction in the United States Air Force for thirty years. His selfless service and leadership as a crew chief inspired all who had the privilege of knowing him. Donald Sandt's legacy of love, service, and kindness will forever be remembered and cherished by his family, friends, and community. He will be deeply missed but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jacqueline and Donald Sandt.
Donald leaves behind his wife Sun Sandt, daughter Heather Sandt, son in law Adrian Simmons, grandson JD Alley, sisters Lynn Ketcham, Linda Casabo, Susann (Richard) Schreier, and many nieces, nephews and close friends who were considered family.
He is deeply missed and forever loved.
