Donna Sue Tucker, age 57, died peacefully at her home in Niceville, FL on May 6, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 3, 1960 in Valparaiso, FL to Robert Taylor and Hazel Thompson Taylor.
Donna, a loving wife, mother, sister and friend, was a life-long resident of Niceville and graduated from NHS in 1978. She married Bobby Tucker, Jr. during her senior year of high school and went on to have three children; Phillip, Stephanie and Jennifer. She worked in the medical field as a clinical assistant for Dr. Billy Weinstein and other doctors for many years. She loved life and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Tucker, Jr.; son, Phillip Tucker; daughter, Jennifer Draper; grandchildren, Penelope Draper and Elijah Coiner; mother, Hazel Taylor; brother, Daniel (Darlene) Taylor; niece, Kayla (David) Law; nephew, Jesse Taylor; great-nephew, Liam Law; best friend, Brenda Crowley McGowan; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Tucker, and her father, Robert Taylor.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all of the professionals at Emerald Coast Hospice who helped care for Donna over the past few weeks.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 1-2pm at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home, with a celebration of life beginning at 2pm.Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Defuniak Springs, FL. Flowers are being accepted.
