Dorothy Mary Schettino

Dorothy Mary (Fernandez) Schettino was born and raised in Tampa, Fl. Dot was the youngest of seven children and the only girl. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School. Dot met Bill Schettino at the Colonnade Restaurant on Bayshore Blvd on a double date when Bill was stationed at Mac Dill AFB. They married in 1959 and had 3 children, William, Anthony, and Lawnene. Together they traveled the world, lived in Saudi Arabia, and enjoyed exploring the US with their RV and motorcycle with a side car. She was a hard worker for the US Army and Airforce Exchange, and for Merck. She was a skilled painter and seamstress. Dot is survived by her children William (& Denise) Schettino, Anthony (& Stacey) Schettino, Lawnene (& Steve) Boswell, and her grandchildren, Ryan Schettino, Austin Schettino, Allie (and Kyler) Lyman, Celeste Schettino, Jimmy (and Brooke) Boswell and Savannah Boswell, and great grandson James Boswell.
