Edna B Reyes

Edna Reyes passed away November 22, 2019 at her home in Niceville, Florida. Edna was born August 14, 1942 in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Candido Cordero and Teresa Adames. After her marriage to Exor Reyes on April 16, 1968, she began her career as a military wife in Homestead, Florida.   Home is where the military sends you and each time they moved, Edna made a warm and loving home for their family.

She treasured most her two sons, Carlos and Jorge Reyes. She beamed with pride watching her two grandsons Ryan and Jaden become fine young men. Edna was known for her cooking, hospitality and always putting others before herself. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Niceville.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents Candido Cordero and Teresa Adames. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Exor Reyes, sons Carlos Reyes of Niceville, Jorge and his wife Gilda of Richland, MS, grandsons Ryan and Jaden. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Selma, Edwin “Papo”, Jidin, Abigail, Raul and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held December 6th.
