Edward Michael Jackson

Edward M. (Ed) Jackson, age 74 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Valparaiso, Florida, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Ed was born on July 23, 1949, in Brewton, Alabama to the late Eulon M. and Vivian C. Jackson.

Ed was raised in Niceville, Florida and was a graduate of Niceville Senior High School, class of ’67. Ed also was a graduate of Lake City Forest Ranger School, Class of ’68, and served in the United States Army from 1970-1972. Ed was a highly accomplished and respected craftsman, who, with his brother, Millard Jackson, built many custom homes located in Niceville and the surrounding areas. Ed greatly enjoyed bass fishing, putting together model cars, talking on his CB and time spent with his family and friends.

Ed was preceded in death by his father, Eulon Jackson, mother Vivian Jackson, brother Millard Jackson, and sister Faye Hodges.

Ed leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Brenda Dannenmueller Jackson, daughter, Erica Jackson of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Granddaughters Macaylah Jackson of Valparaiso, Florida, Patience Jackson of Valparaiso, Florida, Maddison White of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Grandson Burley White, III of Fort Walton Beach Florida.

As well as other family members and friends who will miss him greatly. 

A Celebration of Ed’s life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
