It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Fletcher, affectionately known as Lizzie. She passed away early on Thanksgiving morning, November 28, 2024, at the age of 28. A graduate of Tabb High School in Yorktown, Virginia, Lizzie was involved in cheerleading and jazz choir. Shortly after graduating, she became a resident of Niceville, Florida.
Lizzie was a loving mother to three beautiful children, aged ten, six, and three. She was a radiant soul whose love for people and life knew no bounds—a free spirit who inspired everyone fortunate enough to meet her. Her infectious laugh and radiant smile lit up every room. With an unparalleled understanding of others, she offered empathy, love, and wisdom with a gentle heart. She found peace barefoot in nature and joy in water. Her voice, as beautiful as her heart, filled the lives of many with music and love. Lizzie was a talented singer with a particular passion for blues and jazz, and a gifted writer who won various writing competitions. She dreamed of becoming a published author one day.
Though her time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, and understanding she shared will forever remain with us. She will be deeply missed.
Lizzie is survived by Nick and their son, Kingston; Joey and their children, Alanis and Wesley; her parents, Lisa and Adam; her grandparents, Barbara, Doug, Gerry, Nola, and Lance; her sister, Leyla; uncles, Brent, Travis, Tyler (and his wife, Miko), and Troy; god-mother Leigh; god-father Kelly; as well as many cousins, relatives, and loved ones.
Her loved ones who preceded her in death include grandfathers Skip and Steve, Aunt Heidi, her dog Buddy, and various friends and family, including Joann (Her son Kingston's grandmother).
Services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Niceville Crosspoint with Visitation beginning at 11:00am, and Celebration of Life Service at 12:00pm.
A private interment will be held in Gibson Station, Virginia at Gibson Cemetery.
