Ellen Patricia Dunbar

Ellen passed away Sunday evening, April 23, peacefully and surrounded by loved ones. She ended her journey in Destin, having grown up in Stamford, CT, detouring through Georgia and Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Kitty, and her brother, Johnny. She is survived by her husband Don, her sister Cathy, her nephew J.P., her children, Jonathan and Katy, and her four grandchildren, Bella, Jonathan, Lexie and Fletcher.

Ellen was a vibrant spirit who could liven up any party. She loved to talk, laugh, and have a good time. She had wonderful friends and neighbors, who have enveloped her in love and support, and her absence will certainly leave an empty space in their hearts.
