Geena Marie Bianchi

     Geena Marie Bianchi passed away on March 15, 2022. Geena was born in Opelika, Alabama on May 10, 1996, to Patrick and Christine Bianchi. She spent much of her childhood in Montgomery, Alabama and most recently, the Gulf Coast of Florida. As a young child, Geena always brought so much love and joy to all her family and those who knew her. Geena loved “pink” milk, playing Candyland with Grandma Martha and Grandpa Jack, and making pancakes with Grandma Jean. She enjoyed watching “Little Bear”, performing in local theatre with her cousins and sisters every summer, making movies and traveling with her sisters Andrea and Maria. Geena excelled in academics, sports, and dance. Geena graduated a year early from High School having earned her diploma from Ogburn High School. Her earlier years, she attended St. Bede Catholic school, Baldwin Creative Writing and Dance Magnet Arts Middle School and Booker T. Washington Dance Magnet Arts High School.

     Geena was an avid soccer player, basketball player and cross-country runner. Geena’s was most passionate about writing stories and performing in ballet and modern dance programs. After high school graduation, Geena was accepted into both Northwest State College Nursing School and the Physical Therapy Assistant School program. Geena was blessed with a beautiful smile and was a very talented and passionate singer. She always loved singing karaoke with her family and friends.

     Geena Marie Bianchi is survived by her parents Patrick Bianchi (Susan), Christine Oliver (Patrick), and her sisters, Maria, Andrea and Allie Bianchi, Kerry Oliver, Shannon Oliver, Grandmother Martha Kelley, and numerous Uncles, Aunts and cousins. Geena was baptized in the Catholic faith.

     Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM including a recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow the Funeral Mass at Heritage Gardens Cemetery. A celebration of Geena’s life will follow the interment at the Boathouse Landing Restaurant, 124 N John Sims Parkway, Valparaiso, FL 32580.
