Glen Jerome Landfield, 70, succumbed to heart disease at his home on February 14, 2026 in Niceville, Florida.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 2, 1955 to David and Fern Landfield. His mother Fern was from Metz, France and a WWII survivor. His father David was from Chicago, Ill, a pilot and his paternal grandfather Isadore was from Kiev, Ukraine.
He moved to Miami, Florida in 1960 where he lived for 50 years.
Glen was a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Postal Service as a Letter Carrier. He almost lost his life on February 2, 1996 while delivering mail in Miami due to armed robbery and suffered life-threatening gunshot wounds. He continued working for the U.S. Postal Service as he slowly recovered.
Glen always donated to blood banks throughout his life having donated gallons and saving countless lives. He was a very humble human being and always worried about the person who had less than him. He was an animal advocate and he was passionate about giving to animal charities in particular cats and dogs.
Glen will so miss watching his beloved football teams, the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami, and his favorite NBA team, the Miami Heat.

He is lovingly survived by his sister Ann Landfield Peterson of Niceville, Florida, two nieces: Tania Tablinsky of Lutz (Eric Tablinsky), Florida and Sonia Molinari (Micah Molinari) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and two great-nieces Farrah Tablinsky and Amelie Molinari.
