Gloria M. Herbez

Gloria Herbez was taken home to be with the Lord Jesus on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 at 6:20 PM. Family was by her side as she passed from this life.

 Gloria was born on May 11, 1931 in New Orleans, La to parents Ferdinand Gadonneix and Suzanna Lezina Gadonneix., She attended and graduated from Holy Angel's Academy in New Orleans, La. She married John C. A. Herbez in 1953 and traveled all over the country and abroad as John was in the Air Force. In 1976 they settled and retired in Niceville, FL. John preceded Gloria in death almost 20 years ago.

Gloria is survived by five children, one son and four daughters: Jimmy Herbez; Catherine Minks – husband Rodney Minks of Dallas, Tx; Deborah Trascher – husband Glenn of New Orleans, La; Donna Medina; and Cynthia Huckle – husband Donald.

 Also survived by grandchildren : Jeremy Trascher – wife Theresa; Jessica Laux – husband Jeffery; Joshua Trascher; Amanda Rispoli – husband Benjamin; Donald Huckle III; Andrew Herbez; Patrick Medina; and Stephanie Medina.

 Also survived by great-grandchildren: Klarissa, Keeley, and Joshua Strickenglos; Trinity an Andrew Trascher; Autumn, Grace, and Landry Laux; Emma Rispoli; Lilly Medina and Silas Medina.

 Also survived by Great-great-grandchildren: Mariah and Allie Encardes.

 Survived in death are also two sisters: Adyleen Philippi and Elaine Chafetz

 Private viewing for family from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday May 2, 2025 to be followed by a ceremony of Christian burial at 2:00 pm, at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home with internment to follow at Heritage Gardens Cemetery.
