Our beloved Henry Alfred Brault passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021; he was 91. He was born January 25, 1930 in Moncton, NB, Canada to the late Rosie Breau and raised by loving parents, the late Fred and Lucy Breau. Henry is survived by his devoted wife Mitsuko, daughters Susan Hulker (Stephen) and Annette Buckley (Ernest), grandsons Dillon Buckley, Nicholas Hulker, and Connor Buckley, and a brother Paul Breau (Doreen).
Henry entered the United States Air Force April 21, 1954 serving 23 years as a personnel specialist until his retirement from active duty on April 30, 1977. Throughout his time in the Air Force, Henry served in the U.S. and across Asia. However, his time in Okinawa, Japan would have the most profound effect on his life as this is where he met Mitsuko, the love of his life. Upon retirement Henry brought his family to settle in Niceville, taking a job with Okaloosa-Walton Community College where he worked until entering his final retirement.
Henry was a devoted member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and many service-oriented organizations such as the Pensacola Shrine Club, Twin Cities Elks Lodge, AmVets Post 78, and American Legion Post 221. He enjoyed every opportunity to give back to his community. One of Henry’s greatest joys was transporting local children and their families to the Shriners Hospitals for Children® to ensure they received the care needed.
