Howard Kelty Baldwin passed from this life into his eternal home on August 19th, 2025. He was born on December 16, 1945, in Mondo, West Virginia. He attended Logan High School, then enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served in Korea for one year. He was married to his wife, Nancy Carole, for 59 years. Howard worked as an exterior electrical lineman and was later advanced to electrical superintendent over interior and exterior shops at Eglin Air Force Base. He had a very strong work ethic and enjoyed his work very much.
In his spare time, he rode his motorcycle (Gold Wing) with his many friends and buddies. He enjoyed boating, flying, and traveling with his wife. Howard was also a member of Crosspoint Church for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy and his parents, William P. and Dorothy M. Baldwin. He is survived by one brother Rodney Holston (Rebecca), nieces, nephews, and many friends who all loved him very much. Howard will certainly be missed.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 27th at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville, Florida. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM, with burial at Heritage Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Dora Christian Academy and Children’s Home or charity of choice.
