Master Sergeant Irwin Bailey (I.B.) Weaver, Retired, 85, passed into Heaven on Tuesday, 29 December 2020 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He passed peacefully while admitted in Fort Walton Beach Medical Center being accompanied by his family members. He was born on July 29, 1935 to the late Lewis and Lillian Weaver in Courtland, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his Brothers Kerman Weaver and Ward Weaver.
Bailey loved God, his Family, and his country, serving over 23 years of Active Duty Military service. He worked as a contractor and as a Civil Servant for the Department of Defense as a computer programmer.
He enjoyed working with computers and writing programs. He had an amazing gift of entertaining his family and friends with his wit and sense of humor. Also, he was well known for telling many jokes, puns, and "Weaver-isms".
He is survived by his loving wife Shirl, his oldest son Jeffery B. Weaver (wife Karen) his daughter Melissa Stuckey (Doug) and his son Michael C. Weaver. He is Blessed with three grand-daughters Jennifer L. Boswell (husband Dustin) Crysta R. Weaver, Emily Jones (Zach) and two Great-granddaughters, Riley and Regan Boswell. He is also survived by his brothers Orville Weaver, Charles Weaver, Rayburn Weaver, and sisters Virginia and Hazel.
A celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am at Heritage Gardens in Niceville, Florida with visitation starting at 10:00 am with services following.
