Lieutenant Colonel James Vance Chambers Army (Ret), age 77, of Niceville Florida passed away October 20, 2020. James was born November 13, 1942 in Metropolis, Illinois. He served in the Army for 20 years retiring in 1986 in Niceville, Florida.
After retirement, he enjoyed traveling abroad with his wife as well as going on boat cruises. His interest entailed US History along with a love of visiting US National Parks and Museums.
He is preceded by his wife Frances ‘Cissy’ and son Marc Chambers. He is survived by his son Keith Chambers and sister-in-law Libby Perry Read.

There will be a time of visitation held on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 10-11am at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside Services will begin at 11am in Heritage Gardens Cemetery.
