Jeanmarie Travers

Jeanmarie (Boyle) Travers, aged 77, of Niceville Florida, passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2024. Jean was born October 10, 1946 in Worcester, Ma. to the late Thomas and Irene Boyle. Jeanmarie graduated from St. Peters High School in Worcester in 1964, attended Quinsigamond Community College. and worked as a librarian at the Worcester Public Library. Jeanmarie married Thomas Joseph Travers on June 1, 1968 and together raised nine children, including six children adopted from various countries. She leaves her children, Thomas Joseph Travers Junior(Candice), Colleen Hinely(Brett), Tara Hart(Michael), Michael Travers, Emily Johnson(Jamie), Cristina Anderson(Roger), Galina Travers, Tim Travers & Jocelyn Travers. Jeanmarie’s family will forever miss her spunky nature and quick wit. Jean was the embodiment of love and compassion, especially for children, animals and for anyone in need. Jeanmarie dedicated her life and her soul to her husband, children, and her 18 beloved grandchildren.

There will be a Funeral Mass at Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 2:30 PM. Visitation for friends and family will begin an hour prior. Interment to follow at Heritage Gardens Cemetery.
