Jeanne Francis LeClere

     Jeanne Francis LeClere (85) of Shalimar, FL (formerly Clarks Summit, PA and Alexandria, VA) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, after a long bout with Alzheimer’s.  Despite her illness, she was always quick to blow you a kiss, say hello, or tell you “I love you.” 

     Jeanne was a devoted wife and mother and spent most of her career teaching business skills to adults.  She was a graduate of Marywood (College) University of Scranton, PA.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, COL Dick T. LeClere (USA, Ret) and sister Marian (Dolly) Horak. 

     She is survived by her daughters Lisa LeClere and Michelle (Rocco) Ferreira, sister-in-law Nancy LeClere and numerous nieces and nephews. 

     A celebration of her life will be held at One 20 A Modern Bistro, 120 Partin Drive N in Niceville, April 24 from 1-3. 

    She will be interred with her husband at West Point, August 1.
