On Thursday, November 18, 2021, Jimmie N. Baxley of DeFuniak Springs, FL passed away at the age of 84. Jimmie was born in Slocomb, Alabama. He was a loving husband, Daddy, Grandad & Great grandad, and he was a friend. Jimmie was a proud member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in DeFuniak Springs.

After retiring Jimmie had a passion for volunteering with the Disaster Relief & Ministering to people he met. Jimmie also worked with Clary-Glenn and Heritage Gardens Funeral Home.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his father TJ Baxley & mother Ila Hinson Baxley, sister Laura Palmer, son Bo Miller. He is survived by his wife Betty Baxley, his children Angela & Jeffrey Baxley, Cyndi Saunders (Kevin), Sheila Windham (Anthony) and Lisa Bell; brother Mancil (Dorothy) Baxley; numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held at Cluster Springs Cemetery on Monday, November 22, 2021, beginning at 10 AM. Upon Jimmie’s request no flowers. Contributions can be made to your favorite charity.
