JoAnn Jenkins

Joann Jenkins, age 87, of Niceville, FL passed away peacefully on January 4, 2023.  Joann was born on May 30, 1935, and grew up in Fountain Inn South Carolina. She was whisked away and well-travelled enjoying the military lifestyle alongside her late husband Art.  Eventually they settled on the Gulf Coast. Joann enjoyed all the offerings of the surrounding area, but ultimately her greatest treasure was her family.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.  Joann lived a full life and could often be found shopping, sewing, and spending time with family.

Joann is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Jenkins, son Dean Thompson, son Rick Thompson, and daughter Pamela Thompson.  She is survived by her children Debra Paulman, Billy Jenkins (Kellie), Vicky Lohner (Michael), Alan Jenkins and Daughter in Law Glenda Thompson.  Joann had 13 grandchildren Shane Thompson (Christina), Casey Thompson (Liz), Sonia Malone (Mark), Adam Griffin, Mark Paulman, R.J. Mathews (Dayle), Jena Mathews, Braden Jenkins (Savannah), Tanner Jenkins (Brenna), Miranda Schipper (Joshua), John Lohner (Kristina), Brett Grayer, Karlee Jenkins, 33 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
