1 Corinthians 13:12 says "For now we see only a reflection, as in a mirror, then we shall see face to face. Now I know part, but then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known."
On Sunday, June 28th, at about 1:00 p.m., joy filled JoAnn's heart as Jesus took her hand and led her home. There she reunited with her husband of 57 years, Rethel, her son, Hugh, her mother and father, brothers, and sisters, 4 nephews and 1 niece: and many extended family and friends.
JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Rita; grandsons, Cody and Austin; great grandchildren, Grayson and Novaleigh; 2 sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters in Beta Sigma Phi and many, many friends.
1 Corinthians 13:13 says "Now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love. And the greatest of these is Love."
JoAnn was full of Love. She Loved whole heartedly, deeply, and unconditionally. Her Love remains in our hearts.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who, over the years helped create more years we had to spend with her. Also, A very special Thank You to everyone at Emerald Coast Hospice who greatly helped her to have a peaceful and comfortable transition to the other side.
