JoAnne Andrews

JoAnne (Mueller) Andrews, 62, devoted wife, loving mother, and friend to all passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020. JoAnne was born in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Joseph and Peggy (Stack) Mueller. She graduated from St. Paul Cathedral High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1983, JoAnne married David W. Andrews and raised four remarkable children.

JoAnne worked as a Steel Production Supervisor, a Highway Inspector, a dedicated mother, at Bay Area Awards, and putting her engineering degree to work at Build-A-Bear Workshop before retiring due to Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD). In retirement, she continued to create special moments with her children and shared breakfast every morning with the loving and caring staff at the Bluewater Bay Waffle House.

JoAnne was a faithful member of Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Church.  She will always be remembered for her great smile and never knowing a stranger.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Andrews; children, Lisa Andrews of Pittsburgh, Kelly Andrews of Niceville, Jessica Andrews and Michael Andrews of Jacksonville; sister, Mary Beth (Mueller) McDonald married to Greg McDonald of Pittsburgh, PA; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff of Superior Residences of Niceville for taking such excellent care of her and showing her so much love and compassion.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 16 at 2:00 PM at Christ our Redeemer Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Johnson officiating.
