Joe Harvin Fuller fondly remembered as Babe, Dad, Daddy, Grandpa Joe, Chief, Friend, and his most cherished title, Child of the One True God. Joe was born in Grantville, Georgia on March 26, 1941 and went home to be with his Lord Jesus on December 21, 2015. He is survived and forever loved by his sweetheart of 35 years, Cathy Miles Fuller; children, Philip James Fuller, Stephen Joseph Fuller (Samantha), Sarah Elizabeth Fuller, Melinda McDade, Mary Jo Bridges, and Michael Fuller; his precious Niceville grandchildren, Haven, Devin, and Jaxon as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins and a host of friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Coley Denson and Naomi Roberts Fuller and two sisters, Adra Mae Payton (Kenneth), and Anita Rosser (Joe). Joe was an amazing man, witty, charming, passionate, loving, and caring. He graduated from Grantville High School in 1961 and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1974, retiring in 1992 with the title, Senior Enlisted Advisor. Upon retirement Joe volunteered faithfully at Rocky Bayou Baptist Church leading out in the Benevolence Department, serving as lead usher, and working with his beloved wife in the library ministry. Joe never met a stranger; reaching out to people and offering them the hope of eternal life through his Lord Jesus Christ. He loved and led his family with integrity, sincerity, and a deep desire to see them know and follow his Lord Jesus. Joe H. Fuller will be cherished and missed by all that knew him. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Benevolence Fund at Rocky Bayou Baptist Church, 2401 Partin Drive, Niceville, FL 32578. A celebration of Joe’s life with full military honors will take place at Rocky Bayou Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11:00 am with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
