John Maynard Ross

John Maynard Ross, age 53, of Niceville, FL passed away on December 1, 2022. John was born April 1, 1969 to the late Everett and Patricia Ross in Xenia, OH. He grew up in Xenia and was active, playing multiple sports. On May 28, 1994, John married his true love, Sandra Ross, which he spent 32 years with as his soulmate. John graduated college becoming a physical therapist assistant. He spent 31 years treating patients and impacting lives. John became a Niceville resident, moving with his family from Ohio in 1996. Not only was John dedicated to his family, he spent many years coaching numerous Niceville sports including: Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Softball, as well as Travel Baseball and Softball teams. John was the most amazing husband, father, and Papa and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Beverly Brewer, brother-in-law Keith Brewer, sister Roxanne Turner, and step-mother Barbara Ross. Survivors include his son Tyler, wife Madison, and grandson Calvin John Ross of Houston, TX; daughter Rachel Ross of Niceville, FL; sister Brenda Ross and Jimmy George of Cleveland, OH; in-laws Kenneth and Janet Jacklin of Crestview, FL; sister-in-law Sheryl Lopez of Fort Walton Beach, FL; sister-in-law Brenda Jacklin of Crestview, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
