Joyce Quinlan, born on October 11, 1940, in Zap, North Dakota, passed away on May 31, 2025. She was the daughter of Jacob and Ella Dschaak. Throughout her life, Joyce spent time as a resident of Omaha, NE, Washington D.C., and Florida.
Joyce was not only a devoted homemaker but also an employee of Western Electric Co. and the owner/operator of a drycleaning business in Crofton, MD. For a period, she was also an instructor at the International Fabric Institute. Joyce also enjoyed expressing her creativity as an avid crochet enthusiast.
Joyce is preceded in death by her daughter, Joann Salkeld of Omaha, NE; Karen Crews of Destin, FL; brothers, Wes Dschaak of Eugene, Oregon, Roy Dschaak of Spearfish, South Dakota, Reuben Dschaak of Hettinger, North Dakota, Vernon Dschaak of Omaha, NE; sisters, Ardella Wetzel of Glen Ullin, North Dakota, Eldora Eisenbraun of Billings, Montana, and Ruby Sigmond of Beulah, North Dakota.
Joyce will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Michael Quinlan of Destin, FL; her son, Daniel P. Quinlan – wife Michelle of Orlando, FL; sister Verna Solem of Zap, North Dakota; grandchildren, Nick Preshure – wife Rachel of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Valerie Buman – husband Andy of Underwood, Iowa, Emma Quinlan of Orlando, FL, Jackson Crews of Destin, FL, Sara Crews, and 5 great grandchildren.
